Our company is about to undergo the certification process of one of the internationally acknowledged quality management systems (e.g. ISO). One of the requirements is the creation of an organizational structure, job profiles including qualification requirements and job descriptions. We have such documents, however, they have not been updated for a few years and its creation is very demanding for us. Is there a way to benefit from this situation and use it to improve the company?s operation rather than consider it another administrative burden?
Yes, a well performed organizational audit is the solution. As part of the audit, not only will we create/update the above mentioned documents, but also summarize the strengths and weaknesses of company management, identify so called "white spots", which are activities for which "nobody" is responsible and suggest steps to improve the current situation. All this will be included in the closing report.
Without a clearly defined organizational structure, department heads are not able to effectively delegate tasks to their subordinates and anticipate miscommunication, which may cause damage to the company image. During the new employee recruitment and adaptation process, the organizational structure also plays an important role. Without it, it is not possible to define the qualification requirements of individual positions and to integrate new employees into the company within the recruitment and adaptation process.
The organizational audit has the following aims: to identify the division of competencies, responsibilities, reporting lines among subordinates and superiors, disclosure of strengths and weaknesses of the current management and a recommendation of measures focused on increasing the effectiveness and productivity of the entire company.
We will be happy to assist not only in the following areas:
